This castle was the home of the powerful Saji family. Ono Castle is located in an important strategic location in the region. It is also known as the first married home of the Oeyo (the mother of Tokugawa Iemitsu). Today a donjon themed viewing platform is at the center of the Shiroyama Park giving a panoramic view of the Suzuka Mountains and Ise Bay.
Discaver traditional fermented food culture from the Edo period.Enjoy shopping or consuming sake, miso and soya sauce of the facility for groups of fifteen or more. (Reservation repuired). The facility is also home to a memorial hall for Akio Morita, one of the founders of Sony.
The world tile museum isi just of six halls that make up this experiential,hands-on museum. Exhibitions include valuable ceramics such as decorative tiles, ancient toilets and terracotta. There are also classes for making pottery, workshops and other events giving life to Tokoname, the ceramic city. Enjoy shopping at the museum shop and the food at the restaurant.

Ono Rurigahama is said to be the world's oldest swim beach. Known for sunset views, it faces the far-off Suzuka Mountains across Ise Bay. The sun descending over these waters will take your breath away.
Sakai Shore has a great view across the water to Centrair. From spring to summer one can harvest shellfish and in summer many swimmers come.
